The clan wars was an era in the Islands of Senkyou which lasted from 647 to 1543 AE. The period was full of bloodshed and involved an escalation of power and conflict between the many clans of Senkyou. Warrior classes such as samurai and kitsuja define the center of conflict during this period, and were responsible for most of the events which took place.

Background Information

Around 550 AE the kitsune people of the islands started to divide into several clans, and the beginnings of a feudal system began to emerge. The clans were ruled by mighty lords which held absolute power over the clan they represented. These lords were ambitious, and sought to rule all of Senkyou themselves. During the same time period, there was a massive influx of human migrants, which had seemingly appeared out of nowhere. The migrants integrated into the existing clans of the Senkyou Islands, granting each clan a significant boost in power and influence. It was only a matter of time before the clan lords would take action and wage an all out war.
