Exodian survivors started pouring into the region almost immediately following the cataclysm. The region was far richer in resources and less dangerous then the barren Exodian Peninsula at the time, allowing for steadier growth. In present times there is a very large population of humans, ranking second only to the [[Empire of Equestris]].

Vampires in the royal province are few in number and keep their movements to a minimum. Constant surveillance by vampire hunters has made the region very dangerous for any vampire whom is not associated with a noble or local authority. A large concentration of noble vampires in the area has made the region significant to vampiric society.

Northern Cascadian Coast Demographics
Human 86%

The Kingdom of Battalia was one of the first human kingdoms to form on the Cascadian Coast, and remains an independent and strong nation in contemporary times. While not as populated as the Lower Cascadian Coast, the Northern Cascadian Coast has significant infrastructure in place. The vast majority of humans in the region are of Post Exodian cultural origin, with most of the Yaelic tribes being along the southern coast.

Vampire 12%

Vampires run rampant in the region due to the very limited authority vampire hunters possess within Battalian Borders. While citizens in the region continue to suffer, the Battalian Government refuses to give any sway to Crimson Guard petitions. As a result, vampires have established a deep foothold in the region.

Other 2%

Very few races besides humans live in the region, mostly due to the Kingdom of Battalia favoring human citizens over other races. Of all the non-humans who do live in the region, dwarves are the most common due to their trade agreements with the Kingdom of Battalia.
