Celestia

Celestia is the celestial fairy responsible for creating all the normal fairies(except evil ones) that exist in Amestria. Celestia refers to herself as feminine and has a very kind and caring personality just like her creations. Most of the knowledge on Celestia comes from fairies' accounts of remembering being created by her. Celestia's nemesis is Ragnaroth, a malevolent celestial fairy that is bent on eradicating all sentient life. Celestia was rumored to have fought with Ragnaroth over the fate of Amestria in the past, successfully driving him away from the world and detaining his subjects(the evil fairies). Her whereabouts in recent times have never been discovered, many races even consider her to be a myth. Only time will tell if this fairy intends to reveal herself once again to Amestria.
