An intricate timekeeping device first developed by the dark elves. They are often small oval trinkets with a shaped crystal facet, within reveals three metallic arms that point to etched notches in a circular pattern. The arms will tick at certain intervals and point to a notch which denotes the current time of day. There is a hole in one side where a small key is inserted and twisted periodically throughout the day to keep the trinket ticking. Larger versions of these devices can be found in the Kingdom of Thandolin and the Island of Ae'Tezan, and are usually placed on the peak of a large building.
