Rubber

Rubber is an elastic and waterproof material made from the sap of the Sylvenuvi tree and the juice of the Elu'Tedoki weed. Both have only been found on the tropical Island of Ae'Tezan, and trade of this substance is very limited due to the rarity of the Sylvenuvi Tree involved. Currently, this material is used as a mortar for construction that requires a water tight seal and as the lining on the bottom of many dark elven shoes and boots. Due to the bad smell and tendency to melt at higher temperatures, the use of this substance has remained very minor.
