The main continent featured on Amestria is Exodius, but there are several others which will inevitably play a role in your roleplay journey! From the stormy peaks of Auchinben to the dense jungles of Dendrassil, there is plenty of variety to be found everywhere in the known world. Many of these continents are frontiers in their own right, just waiting for player driven expeditions to take place. Or perhaps the boundaries of the known world will be pushed outward, with the discovery of a new continent. There is no limit to the frontiers of the Amestrian Lore Universe!

Continents

Exodius

Exodius Information Pronunciation Ex-oh-dee-us Demonym Exodian Exodius defines itself as the metaphorical center of Amestria, and the birthplace of humanity. From the rugged Northern Mountains to the Tierran Desert, humanity can be found occupying every corner of this ancient land. The continent was named after the legendary machina city of Exodia, the pinnacle of human achievement. While the former glory of the machina age is now gone, ruins with potentially valuable finds are everywhere. Just be sure to never venture alone, for there are still horrors of the past which reside among the shadows of the ruins. Exodius is considered the most developed continent, with more cities and a larger populace then anywhere else. Auchinben

Auchinben Information Pronunciation Aw-kin-ben Demonym Bennish A land of rugged mountains and tempestrous storms, it is no wonder that many avoid setting foot on Auchinben. Titanic beasts roam the land, constantly fighting each other and crushing anyone and anything which stands in their way. There are also dragons which nest in the stormy peaks, occasionally flying down into the valleys for their next meal. And finally there are several dwarven clans, which constantly battle the elements and the titanic monsters just to stay alive. Auchinben is the supposed birthplace of the dwarves, claiming that the massive titan Khronor was responsible for their inception. Despite all of the extreme dangers that exist within Auchinben, the dwarves have succeeded where many others have failed, and are worthy of calling this land home. Talosia

Talosia Information Pronunciation Tal-oh-see-uh Demonym Talosian A land consisting of modest forests and grassy plains, Talosia is the focal point of colonization for many nations. In a world filled with lands of extreme hazards and deadly wildlife, Talosia offers a safe retreat for those preferring a less hostile frontier. The immigration of new colonists increases every year, and is not likely to decrease any time in the near future. Expeditions have been sent to map a good portion of the continent, but due to it's great size there is still much which has yet to be explored. Many noble families have recently started chartering their own settlements in Talosia, hoping to expand their own influence and that of their kingdom. Dendrassil

Dendrassil Information Pronunciation Den-draw-sil Demonym Dendrassian Dendrassil is a land of unending jungles and lakes, steeped in fairy folklore and tales of adventure. It has been rumored that at one point there was an ancient civilization to be found hidden within the deepest recesses of the jungle. Many explorers arrived here in the past, only to become lost among the thick underbrush and endless sea of trees. There has been an abundance of fairy sightings ever since the continent's discovery, but prospective adventurers should beware of evil fairies which also reside here. Only a single human colony exists on the continent, with other potential charters being focused on Talosia instead. Clearing the dense jungle for more space has been a slow and laborious process, constant interference from the local wildlife and evil fairies have slowed humanity's progress in gaining a foothold in these lands. Only a small portion of the continent has been mapped, with future expeditions being the only hope humanity has to uncover the secrets which lie deeper within the jungle. Islands

Ae'Tezan

Ae'Tezan Information Pronunciation Ay-teh-zahn Demonym Tezanian Ae'Tezan is a tropical paradise abundant with natural resources. The native Yu'Lorei of the island have transformed the shoreline into a series of beaches, farms, and cities. Numerous windmills and watermills can be seen all across the verdant countryside. Aqueducts stretch from the tall tropical peaks of the island's interior into developed Yu'Loran cities bustling with activity. The island has an abundance of hot springs, which the native elves use as the primary water source for their aqueducts as well as the centerpiece to their many bathhouses. There is almost always a warm ocean breeze and pristine blue skies. Khaz'Merith

Khaz'Merith Information Pronunciation Kahz-meh-rith Demonym Merithian Khaz'Merith is best described as a mildly cold and rugged landscape. The southern portion of the island is covered by dwarven farmland, while the northern part is covered by forest. In the center of the island lies the City of Thandolin, the capital of the kingdom of Thandolin. While the city is mostly inside the hollow interior of the mountain, there is still a sizable expanse of city which extends from the base of the mountain to the harbor. The Harbor of Thandolin is considered the largest in the world, where a massive volume of goods pass through every day. Nethshara

Nethshara Information Pronunciation Neth-sha-rah Demonym Nethsharan Nethshara is considered an important trade hub between the continents of Exodius and Talosia.
